How Do You Do The Draft?

Chug Free Beer!

The draft is an exciting and unparalleled event! It typically begins with a Goalie beer chug to select their jerseys, followed by another goalie chug to kick-off the draft. To ensure balanced teams, each draft line paired with comparable players. Afterwards, each line does a chug-off to determine the draft pick order, from the fastest to the slowest chug. Finally, the teams partake in a team chug to choose their schedule for the weekend. We offer non-alcoholic alternatives, so everyone can take part in the fun!

We pick a fun venue for the draft to take place, the draft beers are free and, your first couple drinks are always on us!
How Do You Determine Skill?

At our tournaments, we strive to ensure all teams are on a level playing field. When registering, we ask participants to rate their own skills honestly on a scale. Additionally, if a player is joining with friends, we encourage them to rate each other. Drawing on our extensive knowledge of players worldwide, we also adjust the ratings based on our personal experience. Believe it or not, the results are always pretty accurate, providing a fair and thrilling tournament experience.
What is the Atmosphere Like?

At 3rd Line our number one priority is to ensure everyone has fun! We promote ELE Everyone Love Everyone, and strive to create an inviting atmosphere where you can come, play some hockey, have a beer, and make some amazing memories. We highly value relationships and the strong bonds within the hockey community, and our events are always packed full of amazing people who are ready to have a great time. From organized outings, dinners, and more we’re dedicated to fostering the friendship and comradery that makes Hockey so special to us all.

Tournament Play is designed for ages 21+ and for any skill level. You can register globally and participate in any tournament available.
