Your in the enchanting streets of Edinburgh, basking in the historic splendor of Edinburgh Castle, and soaking in the captivating charm of this magical city. But that’s not all; brace yourself for some spooky ghost tours, Halloween-themed surprises, and experiences that will leave you spellbound!

This is an adult, all skill level, coed tournament.
And it’s a draft so you don’t need a team, just yourself!

Join us for the 2027 New Zealand Adventure & Hockey Draft Tournament—the ultimate trip designed for both players and non-playing companions who want an unforgettable vacation paired with great hockey.

  • Auckland Exploration: Kick off the adventure with guided day trips to the Hobbiton Movie Set, Waitomo Glowworm Caves, and Rotorua’s famous geothermal wonders and Māori cultural experiences.

  • Christchurch & Draft Night: Fly south to Christchurch to visit the International Antarctic Centre, attend the official Draft Party (pick up your custom jersey, socks, and shell), and play 3 games at the Alpine Ice Sports Centre.

  • Lake Tekapo Getaway: Board a chartered coach into the Southern Alps. Catch action from the concurrent International Women’s Tournament, stargaze in a world-renowned Dark Sky Reserve, and unwind in the glacier-fed hot pools.

  • Outdoor Hockey: Lace up for 5 games on the scenic outdoor rink at Lake Tekapo, surrounded by snowcapped peaks.

  • Post-Game Recovery: Cap off the tournament with more hot spring relaxation before our return journey to Auckland.

Registration Fees

  • Players: $4,230.00 (plus SportsEngine processing fees)

  • Non-Playing Guests: $3,605.00 (plus SportsEngine processing fees)

  • Flexible payment plans are available at checkout.

Roster Limit

  • Team rosters are strictly capped at 10 skaters and 1 goalie to maximize ice time.

What’s Included

I recently played in my first 3rd Line Draught tournament, and I will say that I’ll continue playing in more! I’ve played in other draft-style hockey tournaments before, but this one far exceeded the others. The staff who ran the tournament were extremely friendly and helpful. All of the other players who signed up were a blast to not only play hockey with, but hangout with off the ice. I also appreciated the fact that we had our pictures taken and we got those pictures back to us very quickly. And we never ran out of beer! It was a great environment overall.

I recently played in my first 3rd Line Draught tournament, and I will say that I’ll continue playing in more! I’ve played in other draft-style hockey tournaments before, but this one far exceeded the others. The staff who ran the tournament were extremely friendly and helpful. All of the other players who signed up were a blast to not only play hockey with, but hangout with off the ice. I also appreciated the fact that we had our pictures taken and we got those pictures back to us very quickly. And we never ran out of beer! It was a great environment overall.

I recently played in my first 3rd Line Draught tournament, and I will say that I’ll continue playing in more! I’ve played in other draft-style hockey tournaments before, but this one far exceeded the others. The staff who ran the tournament were extremely friendly and helpful. All of the other players who signed up were a blast to not only play hockey with, but hangout with off the ice. I also appreciated the fact that we had our pictures taken and we got those pictures back to us very quickly. And we never ran out of beer! It was a great environment overall.
